I think we can all agree that our country and the world are a bit of a mess right now. So, as an antidote, in addition to the above references to love, I offer my Valentine’s Day parody of one of my favorites, “We Need A Little Christmas,” sung to the tune of the same:
WE NEED A LITTLE CUPID
Throw out the ill will!
It has no place in our nation anymore.
Fill us with love now,
It may be pushing things, but time’s a-wastin’ galore!
For we need a little Cupid, right this very minute
This Day’s for all of us, no matter how you spin it

We’re so fed up with division, now it’s time for a revision!
